Ken and Crew at Work

Ken Sigel and friend, John McGaffigan, are hard at work today getting a below-market-rate rental apartment ready for occupancy. The single greatest cause of family homelessness is the high cost of this region's rental housing. MASH's new initiative calls for investing in below-market-rate rentals in order to provide an affordable housing option for local families who are otherwise priced out of the rental market.

We Couldn't Have Done it Without You!

Thanks to the amazing volunteers who helped MASH sell soda and water at Olde Mistick Village's Garlic Festival this past weekend. Your support made all the difference! And our gratitude to Olde Mistick Village for giving MASH the opportunity to raise funds for our mission, Preventing Family Homelessness.

Courtyard Gallery's New Show to Benefit MASH

Del and Kristen Bach, owners of the Courtyard Gallery in downtown Mystic and long-time supporters of MASH, are donating a portion of the proceeds from their new show to help homeless families. Read about it on page 43 of The Day's Aspire magazine and visit the Courtyard Gallery soon to view the inspiring work of local artists!

Rally to Protect Nonprofit Services

MASH's Executive Director, Jeff Anderson, was at the CT State Capitol rally today to voice his support for passing a final state budget that includes funding for critical non-profit services. You can help too by telling your legislators to pass a budget now that makes vital community services a priority.

Volunteers Needed at Olde Mistick Village Garlic Festival on September 16th and 17th

MASH is selling water and soda at the Olde Mistick Village Garlic Festival on Saturday, September 16 and Sunday, September 17. All proceeds will benefit MASH. Ideally, we need 16 volunteers to cover each day (8 per shift). Each shift is about 4 hours (3.5 hour shifts on Sunday).
