Ken and Crew at Work
Ken Sigel and friend, John McGaffigan, are hard at work today getting a below-market-rate rental apartment ready for occupancy. The single greatest cause of family homelessness is the high cost of this region's rental housing. MASH's new initiative calls for investing in below-market-rate rentals in order to provide an affordable housing option for local families who are otherwise priced out of the rental market.

And our gratitude to Olde Mistick Village for giving MASH the opportunity to raise funds for our mission, Preventing Family Homelessness.

MASH's Executive Director, Jeff Anderson, was at the CT State Capitol rally today to voice his support for passing a final state budget that includes funding for critical non-profit services. You can help too by telling your legislators to pass a budget now that makes vital community services a priority.
