If you are an Eastern Connecticut family with custody of minor children and are facing homelessness, please contact Always Home at 860-245-0222. Always Home serves as the designated HUB for all 2-1-1 appointments for Eastern Connecticut families with minor children (New London and Windham Counties).
Please note that Always Home does not pay for hotel/motel or other temporary housing situations.
If you are behind on rent and in danger of being evicted...
If you are an Eastern Connecticut family with custody of minor children and are unable to pay a past-due or current rent or if you have been served a Notice to Quit, you may qualify for Always Home's Homelessness Prevention Program.
To determine next steps and assess eligibility for financial support, completion of an application and
budget, along with case management, is required. Please complete Always Home's HOUSING ASSISTANCE ELIGIBILITY FORM. Answer all of the questions to the best of your ability. Incomplete forms will not be accepted.
Financial assistance is not guaranteed. To establish your eligibility for Always Home's one-time financial support, we will conduct a review of your income and expenses, as well as assess your capacity to move forward following our intervention.
