If you are behind on rent and in danger of being evicted...

If you are an Eastern Connecticut family (New London County and Windham County) with legal custody of a minor child or children and are unable to pay a past-due or current rent, or if you have been served a Notice to Quit, you may qualify for Always Home's Homelessness Prevention Program.

 

To determine next steps and assess eligibility for financial support, completion of Always Home's APPLICATION FORM, along with case management, is required. Once you've submitted the application, you can expect to hear back from an Always Home team member within two business days. Please answer all of the questions to the best of your ability. Incomplete forms will not be accepted. 

 

While financial assistance cannot be guaranteed, Always Home will work with you to determine the best path forward, which may include short-term support. Together, we will review your income and expenses and discuss your ability to manage ongoing financial obligations.
