Always Home is grateful to Merrily and Michael Connery, owners of Saltwater Farm Vineyard and M/BAR, for thinking of us this holiday season. Their party invitation asked guests to donate household items for Always Home's client families. Because of everyone's amazing generosity, many struggling families will enjoy the comforts of home this holiday season and in the year ahead.
Tuesday, December 11th, marked the 77th day of The Governor's Challenge on Family Homelessness. Coordinated Access Network (CAN) providers, including Always Home, gathered to celebrate their results...280 families and nearly 550 children; an increase of 61% families housed during the same time period last year. Always Home is proud to be a part of the solution that's preventing family homelessness in the State of CT.
