This young chef is practicing his skills on a brand new stove thanks to a generous grant from the Ledyard Rotary Club Foundation. The new appliance replaced an old stove in one of Always Home's below-market-rate rentals. With an affordable rent, parents build financial stability and improve credit history so that they can move on to market-rate housing. This stove will serve many families who will need help strengthening housing security for their children. Thank you, Ledyar
In true community spirit, Always Home completed a major window replacement project this week at our below-market-rate rentals thanks to the generosity The Edward and Mary Lord Foundation and a Rotary Foundation Humanitarian District 7980 grant which matched the support of the Rotary of Mystic, the Groton Rotary Club and the Rotary of the Stoningtons. The new windows greatly improve safety and energy efficiency for our client families who live there. Special thanks to volunte
Blair, Avery and Mateo Michelotti are kind and generous children. You may remember that last December seven-year-old Blair organized her neighborhood to donate toys, clothing and household items to families in need. Today, these siblings donated masks, pencils and backpacks purchased by Blair with her very own money. These kids are going to change the world!!
Always Home thanks the Nordson Corporation Foundation for a generous grant that will be a lifeline for our client families in the days ahead. Nordson Corporation is a worldwide industrial manufacturer of parts, products and equipment. A committed corporate citizen, Nordson and its employees are proud to be making a positive impact in the communities in which they live and work.
