KEEPING THEM HOUSED DURING COVID

Throughout COVID-19 Meredith has worked a 40+ hour week at a pizzeria, in spite of chronic health conditions that leave her sore after every shift. She and her 8-year-old, hearing-impaired son have lived with her mother for the last two years. But tensions were escalating because of the COVID-19 isolation, and her mother unexpectedly threw Meredith and her son out of the house last week. Because Meredith has contributed every month to keep the household running, she doesn't have enough money for a place of her own.
